More Ways to Think Pink This Month
I’ve already told you about a few products this month that donate to breast cancer awareness (including the amazing Milk & Honey slingback!), but before October ends (eek!), I want to mention a few more of my favorites.
Rebecca Taylor designed the nude “eyelash trim” ruffle blouse ($235) above to raise funds and awareness for the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation. 50 percent of the proceeds will go to this Foundation, which funds the aggressive subtype of triple-negative breast cancer (only 15 percent are classified with this form). I’ve fallen dearly in love with this little blouse – it’s just so girly and pretty, much like all of RT’s clothing. (I’ve actually been wearing a ton of her designs lately, and it’s working out well for me…really great fit, quality fabric, very pretty and now to support a cause. Yes, please!) I would definitely wear this with black cropped pants and heels.
Another designer to support BCA is jewelry designer Melissa Joy Manning. She created this special cuff below ($175…$145 goes to BCA!), and I absolutely love how dainty and polished it is. I’m a sucker for a great cuff any day of the week, and the symbol on this one is just too special to not take notice. Most people take notice of lots of shimmer and shine, but what about the iconic ribbon (in 14 kt pink gold, no less)? You think people will take notice of it? I bet they do, and what a great way to get the message across. Wear it with your fav heels, natch.
