I shudder to think what I would look like in this dress. No, really I do. Eva Longoria wears white very well, no? EL stepped out in NY earlier this month in this Halston Heritage boatneck dress (with a fishtail hem, no less) from the fall 2012 collection (lucky, lucky duck...I'm still wearing what, four seasons ago?).
White can be done in a bad, bad way - admit it, you've seen it. But, this dress was done very tastefully (hmmmm, I'm thinking our ol' pal Robert Verdi might have styled? gotta tweet him asap!), and I love the addition of the black satin pumps (we're seeing satin everywhere lately, which means I've got to get on this trend for my shoe closet stat).
Obviously, she's wearing some type of shaper with this dress - you just can't step out without. But, three things I think are flattering? The boatneck....check. The long sleeves...check. The cinched black belt...check. Oh, and the shiny, tousled hair is a plus as well. Way to go, Eva...you've certainly got your groove back.
