Whiny Wednesday: Baby2Baby & Huggies Host an L.A. Luau
Ugh, not trying to complain moms, but I’m going to have to make this one short today. As soon as I got back from my Dallas shopping weekend, I discovered little C. was sick with a stomach bug. Needless to say, I’ve been doing a ton of caretaking and feel like I need to take care of myself and go to bed early for once. We moms often forget to take care of ourselves, no?
But, I really wanted to share with you this latest Baby2Baby event in L.A., hosted by Julie Bowen and Busy Phillips. Huggies has partnered with the organization again, which means for every pack of Huggies Hawaiian diapers and wipes purchased (I had no idea these were out there, but don’t they sound CUTE?), the brand will diaper a baby in need for a day through the Every Little Bottom Program. The program helps get diapers to families in need throughout the country. (Did you know 1 in 3 families struggle with diaper need?)
What a great way to help out. I can’t imagine what some moms go through, and here I am having a long day because my Weleda Calendula Cream has run out, or little C. spit out his organic mandarin oranges. I point the finger back at myself to make myself realize there are so many people in need of just the basics, sometimes we all need to step back and think more about how thankful we are – and how we can help. Baby2Baby is a great way to start, don’t you think?
P.S. Other celebs in attendance were Anna Paquin, Selma Blair, Ellen Pompeo and Soleil Moon Frye.
Have a great day, y’all…I’m going to finish getting this baby well!! 🙂
