Chris Benz is such a cool label. I mean, every fashion rockstar wants to wear Chris Benz (and attend his fashion week presentations - such a hot ticket filled with celebs!). His Resort 2013 collection is almost too hot to handle. I love the mix of bold color (the grassy green!) and prints, and the colorblocking is out of this world. From kimono-style frocks and sheaths that are more relaxed to more tailored cardigans and pencil skirts, let me tell you. It's got me longing for my beach vacay that happens in just a matter of days. I certainly wouldn't mind bringing some Chris Benz attire along for the ride. Perfectly packable, indeed.
And because the press release sums it up so well:
"The CHRIS BENZ Resort 2013 Collection highlights the idealism of travel, from saturated brights to perfectly packable looks designed for spontaneous getaways. Mid-century prints dance merrily with washed chambray, electric double-knit and plasticine jerseys. Ruffles, tinsel, and sheer layers communicate effortless formality, while playful beading and exposed underskirts highlight aspects of play. The silhouette is both relaxed and dramatic, balancing oversized jackets and peplum blouses with cigarette pants and sweeping patterned skirts."
