Joie Ikat Pants=Want, Need, Love
Let’s get this beach vacay STARTED. The biggest decision I’ll make this morning is whether to wear a maxi dress or a romper on the road trip, and I’m ok with that. What I’m really wishing I had, was a little splash of ikat. Groan. I look at these Joie ikat pants on Miranda Kerr and scream “mine!” Oh, is that bad?
They’re such a pretty color for a strawberry blonde (and a “Miranda Kerr,” as anything is) and this print is one of my absolute favs of all time. Combine that with the awesome fluidity of these pants and, whew, I’m in fashion heaven. Natch, you’ve gotta wear a loose tee with what we call the “frat-boy tuck” and a muted blazer for the chilly plane/car ride. Honestly, these are the perfect beach pants and I’m now on a mission to find them on my trip so I can wear them. If not these pants, I will come home with ikat, folks. Wish me lotsa luck?
