Whiny Wednesday: J.R. Martinez & Diana Gonzalez-Jones Share Their Nursery
I was recently sent photos of J.R. Martinez and partner Diana Gonzalez-Jones’ beautiful nursery. Are you gasping yet? I sure do love the romantic elegance of this room; it has such a peaceful feel to it just by looking at it (although I’m sure there are times it’s not so peaceful, ha).
The couple selected Oilo‘s freesia bedding (a soft blush tone with a contrasting floral print and a herringbone patterned sheet; a three-piece set is $399), and Oilo glider and pouf (recommended retail is $1,349 for the glider and $349 for the pouf), along with a coordinating diaper change pad and topper. And I don’t know about you, but I’m really digging the design of the square crib! I love everything to have symmetry and this nursery totally does.
“We absolutely love our Oilo glider! It’s one of our favorite pieces in the room and has such a unique cool design that is actually very comfortable. Coupled with the very pretty design of our Oilo Freesia bedding, both are standout pieces that truly make our dream nursery extra amazing!” — J. R. Martinez and Diana Gonzales-Jones
The couple also used a Naturalmat Coco organic mattress (the company also carries organic mattresses for children’s bed, and I must investigate; I kick myself a million times for not investing in an organic mattress for little C. as a baby or child).
“It’s important to us to help protect the environment and that of our daughter’s well-being. When it came to choosing a comfortable crib mattress that met our needs, Naturalmat was the perfect choice.”
Oh, and those cute little gold shoes in the bottom photo? They’re pediped Originals, natch. (Sorta wishing they came in adult sizes…blush…)
