The Charlotte Ronson show is never, ever a disappointment. I looooove Charlotte and most everything she makes because it’s not cookie cutter – she puts her own personal spin on things. So hipster, and so chic. This collection was all in the details for me – the amazing wedges (all shoes were from JustFab…which means they’re all $39.95! I seriously want every pair…), the cute lil’ backpacks, the stunning shades of green (which we’ll see a lot of come spring). I went gaga over all the party dresses and chic handbags to go with. And like many other shows (Lacoste, for one), Charlotte added her own new-age rain jacket. A boring black parka will no longer do, folks.
The star-studded affair brought out Paris Hilton, Kimora Lee Simmons, Russell Simmons and their daughters and Rachel Zoe and her husband, Rodger (who ALL sat across from me, might I add). A funny thing happened to me, too. On the way out of Lincoln Center it was starting to rain again so I was hurrying about when I noticed Rach and Rodg just standing there waiting for a cab. Rachel, in huge sunnies, natch. As my voice quivered to ask them for a quick photo (because no one around was?!), so did my hand and the photo came out BLURRY. Le sigh…sometimes ya just gotta laugh…
