Whiny Wednesday: All The Good; None of the Bad
Hey, lil’ mamas. I’m extra excited today because I found a new product line I need to share with you. New (healthy!) kid’s brands always make me squeal with excitement. This one’s called Episencial and you’re going to l-o-v-e scrubbing your little one with it (err, you might want a bottle for yourself?).
The brand actually carries all sorts of products, and peeptoes crossed I get to try the amazing sunscreen they sent us (beach vacay is less than a couple of months away and it’s gonna be the first thing I pack in my bag!). After all, safe sunscreens are few and far between, so the ingredients in this one make it a winner.
What we have been loving and using for the past month is the Playful Wash shown above. Wowwwwweee. At only $9, it’s completely affordable and the 2-in-1 design is a must (do moms actually use anything else though, really??). It’s the “#1 organic wash chosen by hospitals,” so that alone is amazing. It’s gentle (no tears here!) and it lathers up really well. Not to mention I love the tangerine scent (although it is slightly energizing, so I might consider bumping up little C’s bath juuuust a little bit. wink.).
And, as you know, I practice everything in moderation with the little guy, so it’s nice to know this company also creates a “starter kit” that happens to include their gluten free products (there’s no oat). It comes with travel portions of the Playful Wash, Soothing Cream and Cheeky Salve for $16, which means you end up saving 15 percent. Such a handy and perfect little kit!
I love how Episencial is “loaded with the good stuff and free from the bad stuff.” They’re extremely great for kids under five who have sensitive skin (eczema, etc.); contain mostly organic ingredients; no unhealthy chemicals; and instead of those pesky fragrances, they include juice extracts. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty thankful to have companies like this who care. Insert huge sigh of relief…
