Whiny Wednesday: Summertime Easy
Hello, gorgeous mamas! Happy Whiny Wednesday…mwah. Obvi I don’t normally post a style post on Wednesday, let alone in flats. But guess what? I wear flats, too! (gasp, I know) While heels are def where my heart is, I’ve recently been sent a pair of Brian James Footwear to try out (you can buy them online) – ya know, on the playground, on my errands around town and, hey, to the museum! That’s where I wore them this weekend. The designer, Angela Edgeworth, is actually the founder of popular (oh-so-beloved!) children’s footwear line, pediped. Isn’t that pretty sweet? The shoes are way comfy, and easy to wear (hello, Velcro closure!). Best part? They don’t look like mom shoes at all.
Since it’s started to hit the “sweltering” category down south, I found this Michael Stars caftan to be super-duper easy to hit the errand runs with these flats to match. Hey, no one said black wasn’t easy – and flattering! This is quite possibly the easiest piece now in my closet and I’ll wear it until summer’s very end. (Thanks, Michael Stars…you truly know how to make a girl feel great!) Plus, I think a straw fedora (from Hat Attack) makes the entire outfit pop even that much more.
P.S. Look for a major style post next week. I can’t wait to share!
