Now that I'm in my second trimester, I'm trying to sorta treat myself like a queen. After I get out of the shower, I actually feel like taking the extra steps to pamper myself and ward off any upcoming horrendous lines that shouldn't be there. ;) I must admit, I first heard about Mama Mio products not from the store, but from Kim Kardashian, who has talked up Lucky Legs during her pregnancy. Then, I happened to spot it in my local maternity store. So, when I got a press release to try out this Pregnancy Essentials kit, it was a no brainer.
I've used the Boob Tube a little bit, but honestly my hair is so long, I only like to use this one when I haven't just washed my hair because it then becomes a huge mess. It's great though otherwise, I'm just not as obsessed with this area like I am my tummy and legs. :) My favorites are the Tummy Rub, which smells amazing, and, of course, Lucky Legs. I think the latter just might be my fav pregnancy product of all time (I know, gasp!). I didn't even think I had tired legs, but I put some of this cream on them to instantly cool them in this heat, and boy did it ever! It contains Menthol, a cooling agent, and aloe among other natural, pregnancy-approved ingredients. I don't feel a bit scared to use these products (unlike others) because I know it's safe.
I plan to use the Tummy Rub up until the last minute (need a bigger jar ASAP) to help increase my skin's elasticity...aka no stretch marks, please! I never got them with my last, and I used a cream all the time, so I'm hoping for the same this time around. This is definitely the best-smelling rub around, and I love the thick consistency of the cream. The tube makes it super easy to apply!
If you're like me and just want to try it to see if you like it first, I highly rec this essentials kit for just $28. That way you can try out all of the products at once and not invest too much. But, trust me, once you do, you're gonna be hooked. Your legs will never be the same! :)
