Whiny Wednesday: Best Baby Footies Ever
I say this a lot lately, but I can hardly believe baby L is getting soooo big and will be ONE in just a couple of weeks…eeeeeek. Where did time go?! With two, it’s definitely much easier to let time slide because it’s so easy to get caught up in all the craziness. It’s WAY busier. If you’re thinking of having a second child, it’s awesome! But let me be clear in saying that this first year has been BUSY. It’s much trickier to juggle than having one. Of course I wouldn’t trade it or my job for the world! And moms with more than two, how DO you do it?!
Having a second baby means I’ve now tested a lot of onesies and footies. And right up there in my “all-time favorites” category is the brand Kickee Pants (look! she’s been wearing these since she was born!).
This is the Printed Footie in Starfish Porthole ($35) and she looooves it! I decided we’d branch out and wear purple for once…wink. In a sea full of pink, I’m kinda loving it, too. Here she is reading her fav shoe book, of course.
Why do we love these so much? So many reasons! The sleeves flip on the end to cover hands that like to scratch, and the footies have slip-resistant soles (so important on our hardwoods!). (Oh, and the inside of the footies are fleece!)
The fabric is a slinky viscose from bamboo that is the comfiest ever. It’s no wonder she lived in one of these when she was just three months old. She wears them during the day, but sometimes at night! They’re SO easy…and cute. And did you know these go all the way up to a size 4T? There are also some other great patterns.
I think it’s time to lower the crib. Ugh. She’s starting to really pull up! And here she is below examining her footie. The girl like a great-quality piece of clothing like her mama. 🙂
Have a happy rest of the week, mamas! Next week when I check in I’ll be first birthday party planning like crazy. I’ll try not to stress you out too much! Xoxo
